My parents have been giving they're dog chocolate since she was a puppy and still do and shes almost eight years old. I was wondering if chocolate is deadly for dogs then how is they're dog as healthy as she was when she was a pup?

Dark chocolate is deadly for dogs, but of course it is all about what kind they give and the amount.

If they are giving her milk chocolate that is pretty diluted chocolate.
However, what they are doing is not going to keep her healthy all of her life.

How much does this dog weigh? How often is she sick? What does she eat the rest of the time. Is she obese?

This is the true mark of whether or not she is healthy.

But not all chocolate is the same. So as I said, it's the kind, amount etc that matters along with her size.
