bronchitis in cats

Question
My cat is 13.  She's had bronchitis once in 12 years, until we moved to this house.  Now, this winter, she's been treated once for this, and now I need to take her in again.

Knowing the bad affects of antibiotics and cortisone meds, I hate the idea of her going back to the doctor for more of the same.  When she received the cortisone shot and amoxil, it only lasted 5 weeks.  Now she's got the same thing all over again, coughing, swallowing her flem or fluid.

She eats ok, and is sleeping ok, (snores) but I am wondering if there are any natural alternative products that are used for cats as a preventive and to kill the bacteria, without all these meds?

Any suggesions?

Answer
Hi Vickie!

has your vet ever spoken to you about an AeroKat inhailer?

www.aerokat.com

just like in people, getting right to the problem helps quite a bit.

also has your vet done chest xrays and dewormed your cat?

I know of no natural products for bronchitis.
