puppy stool mix with blood

I have recently purchased a Pomeranian puppy, he is 4 months old. I have discovered that when he does his business there is a little bit of blood mixed in with it. I am worried b/c his poop is not textured like the rest of my dogs, and he also has a thing about eating his "business" after hes done.

He should be taken to the vet for a checkup if he has not gone already and also take a stool sample to be checked....most likely he has intestinal parasites (coccidia, roundworm, hookworm or giardia are most likely) that are causing the blood in the stool.  He will continue to re-infect himself when eating his stool (plus he is also a source of infection for your other dogs!).  Add FORBID to his food to discourage him from eating his stool.
