Pad Bleeding?Need advice

HI i am concerned about my dog,
It is a wet day and my puppy was coverd in mud(we let her go outside by herself)and when we took her inside to clean her before we let her go,when we noticed her pad on a front paw was bleeding.Later on she was limping.I inspected her paw and it looks like a cut is between
bigger pad and her fur,in one of the conors.it was still bledding slightly bleeding.
I have decied not to take her to the vet unless it starts to look infected,is this a right choice or should i take her as soon as i can?

I don't understand why you would wait until it is infected to take her. That will cost a lot more than taking her now, getting it looked at, cleaned up and wrapped and perhaps getting some antibiotics for her.


Cut pads are very hard to heal on their own. I wouldn't wait to long before getting her in and having it looked at.
