I just noticed a greenish...

I just noticed a greenish dischargecoming from the unopened eye of one of
my 9 day old puppies.  my vet's office is closed. i'm applying warm
compresses to the area.  the mom is on keflex for a uterine infection.
any thoughts on what I shold do?  can the puppy go blind from this before
I get him to the vet tomorrow?

Hi there!  Congrats on the new puppies!  This is probably an eye infection, and warm compresses should be fine until tomorrow.  There is always a chance of blindness occuring with an infection in a puppy this young, but if you have just noticed the infection today, he should be fine until tomorrow.
