prick ears

Hi, I just bought a 3 month old silky terrier a few days ago. I was wondering whether the ears will be up or down. She's 3 months old now but her ears are not prick. Is it possible that her ears will not stand at all?

Hi Rebecca!  Congratulations on your new baby!  It does take a few months for their ears to stand on their own, but there also are no guarentees that their ears will stand at all.  The cartlidge in the ears should be fully grown and strong enough to hold the ear upright by 4-5 months old.
