Fatty Tumor

Question
We have been told that our dog (13 yrs old) has a fat tumor. What should we do about it?

Answer
Was it aspirated and that revealed fat or did the doc just say it felt like fat?

I would minimally recommend that the tumor be aspirated...if it is truly fatty, then you can just monitor it.  

If there is some question as to whether or not it is purely fat, then I would recommend having it surgically removed.
