grass eating/dog

@ various times when out walking, my dog tends to eat grass, vomits later sometimes not always, this is not a daily occurrance however at least once a week or twice a week eating grass(not vomiting every time)........how concerned should I be, is he lacking something in his diet??? My dog is approx. one year

Hi Maureen!It is fine to let your dog eat grass,just be sure there is nothing poisnous on it,like fertilzer or anything that is harmful to dogs.This is usually because they have an upset stomach,so they eat grass and induce vomiting.
