Licking paws

My 7 yr old chi just had a allergy shot and is licking her paws , what could be going on with
Her . She has been cleared for fleas also.

When you say allergy shot that can mean either a steroid injection or a shot of a hyposensitization serum made specifically for your dog. If the dog got tested for allergies and is on a special allergy shot, the concentration of the shot may be too much.  If she got a steroid shot, it may wear off after only a few days and I would recommend following up with steroid tablets.  Dogs that lick their feet are often infected with a yeast called Malassezia. You need to discuss this with your vet.
