My chi is 10 months old and has red mange. We have been treating him with ivermectin for 3 months now. He wieghts 4 pounds 14 ounces, his dose has been .13 of a cc of the 10 mg. I would like to know if this is the highest safe dose he should have?

Is this the dose your veterinarian gave you for him? Has there been any improvement in the mange?
If you are not seeing an improvement in this length of time then you need to see the vet about upping the dose. I don't have the dosing chart for this and only your vet can safely give you the range in which to use it.
So call the vet's tomorrow. Another alternative is to use Interceptor (milbemycin) on a daily dosage. It is very safe but it is not cheap to use this way. Talk to your vet about it.
