Cats diet

Question
I would like to know what you recommend feeding a cat that vomits easily.  I have an 11 year old cat that has had problems her entire life.  Occasionally she will go for a month without vomiting, but usually it is a weekly occurence.  I can only feed her can food. Some are OK for a while and others she cannot tolerate at all.  Dry or semi-dry is regurgitated almost immediately.  The vet cannot find anything wrong with her through examination and blood tests.

Answer
Try feeding an all natural diet that is free from dyes and preservatives as well as no meat by-products.  Some good companies are Natural Balance, Eagle Pack, Nutro Natural, Precise, Verus...   She may have a food allergy or irritable bowel, and you could consider trying her on Nature's Recipe Venison and Rice formula as well (this is a limited antigen ingredient diet).

In addition, I would recommend a hairball remedy be given once or twice a week to ensure that she does not have any hairballs.  VETBASIS is one of the better one as it is petroleum-free and the cats seem to enjoy the taste.  You can find that at www.petsage.com

PROZYME is also a good supplement to add to  the food to increase digestion  www.prozyme.net
