golden retriever constant diarrhea unless on antibiotics

Hi I have a 10 month old retriever who has had ongoing issues with diarrhea from about 8 months of age. She is otherwise perfectly fine. She's been seen by 2 vets. Has done 2 rounds of flagyl and 1 tapering dose of tilisin ( tapered over 1 month ) While on theses drugs she's fine , 3-5 days later the diarrhea starts again . I am at my wits end . She is also on a diet now for dogs with colitis ( $ 60. / bag ) Please help if you can

Wow Lisa:  Let's see what we can do for your girl.

How about we use the special food and mix it with another food.

Can you find some Inova EVO in the local pet store?
If you can let's mix the Evo with your food for 1 month.  Do 1/2 your food and 1/2 the new food x 1 month.  Then, after the month go 100% with the Innova EVO.
This food has no fillers and is 99 % meat.

Also, give your girl canned pumpkin every-other day.  Give 1/4 a cup of pure canned pumpkin ( on-top) of the dry dog food.
Great for fiber!  ( make sure you find the pure canned pumpkin)

***The opposite day, please give some yogurt -
Buy the Activia kind of yogurt and give 1 cup (EVERY-OTHER) day..OK?????  ( must have active cultures in it)

Down the road you will stop the canned pumpkin.  Do the pumpkin for at least a few months.  Always continue the ACTIVE culture yogurts....
