dog food ; nuvet helps! shih tzu on Nuvet and Activia;

Question
shit tzu 2 1/2 yrs (12.5 lbs) itchy paws/hot spots and a shihtzu/daschund mixed 10 months & 18.5 lbs)  I need a diet food for the 18.5 lbs (over weight) and the 2 1/2 need a good grain free) which Wellness/Merrick/innova evo you suggest. Activia/Nuvet has improved the yeast build up and is scratching less

Yes, Grain free foods will sure help an itchy dog.
Innova Evo has a reduced fat formula of grain free dog food - you can try that one for the both dogs.  
The 10 month old baby can now be on the Innova EVO - reduced fat.
Add some low fat cottage cheese to his diet 2-3 x per week - just 1/4 cup at a time.
Also, both kids should be taking the NuVET- besides NuVET helping allergies and skin, it is an over-all great vitamin.
They make it is a powder or wafer form.

For treats - 1/4 cup per dog - every other day of Canned ( no added salt) green beans are helpful - empty calories - most dogs have no problem with green beans.
Other treats:  NO GRAINERS - it is a brand of "grain free" treats -
Look for No Grainers in the pet shops.
