Excessive Hunger

Question
My dog has been on phenobarbital for about 3 years. While the phenobarbital has reduced her seizures from 1 a month to a couple a year, she suffers from excessive hunger. We talked to our vet about a prescription diet, but he didn't think it would do her any good. Is there any alternative supplement or food that will help her feel more full?

Answer
Ii has been my experience for over 20 years that if you would remove all wheat, corn, soy, dairy, beef, by-products and chemical toxins from your dog's system including everything you put in your dogs mouth as well as everything you put on your dog, which includes things from the vet; you will probably find that the seizures quit entirely and your dog will have the appropriate appetite as well as the appropriate weight and health. If you go for a pre-prepared frozen raw food diet such as Steve's Eco Chicken, BARF chicken,or one of North West Naturals Diets (chicken, turkey, chicken and salmon, lamb or bison)you will achieve maximum health with minimum financial out put.  You can buy a lot of good food for the price of a vet visit.  It has worked many many times.

Please note that I am neither diagnosing nor prescribing since a CA vet whom I cost $$ reported me to the FL Department of Regulation for practicing without a license for trying to help people and their pets for free.  :0(
