Question
Hi

My cocker spaniel has a quarter size mass on her backside (on her sitting bone) that is filled with blackheads, and a 1/2 inch black spot on her tail where her hair is not growning.  Is there any way to cure this?
She is a very active, playful dog, weighs about 16 lbs, with a tendency to be skinny.   Her coat has always been silky and very fine and prone to matting.  My vet says to leave the spot alone, since it doesn't bother her but it is unsightly and has grown from the size of a nickle to a quarter the past year. I'm wondering if I can supplement her diet, liperdem and extra omega which had always helped my others dogs coats doesn't seem to effect her.

Thanks for your help.

Answer
Cocker spaniel skin condition and blackheads; dog acne; dog matting;

Hi Gail - NuVET has a tea tree oil - hot spot spray and shampoo.... I would go with shampoo 1 x every 8-10 days and the hot spot oil spray 1 x per day.  NuVET is not sold in stores - Please go here:  http://www.nuvet.com/81098
Also, they make a wonderful Wafer treat supplement - give her 1 per day.
NuVET offers you a 60 day money back guarantee.

NuVET is Natural and very safe for your girl.

the 30 count bottle is 20.00
   60 count is 39.00
and the 90 count is 55.00
FOR small bottles like the 30 count, you need to call in at:  1-800-474-7044 and give my referral code ( marie 81098)

Give the Shampoo ( Tea tree Shampoo )
and the Tea Tree spray - along with the NuVET Plus Wafer a good 60 day try.

HOPE this helps
My clinic has had great luck!!!

Glad you did also see your local vet ..
