my eel attacked my shark

my co worker has a huge and i mean gynormous saltwater tank with various sharks and two eels .... last nite when i was visiting to view the aquarium for the first time the eel attacked one of the sharks and has left him with a pretty nasty gash on his underside ... closer to his jaw area ... he is still swimming around just fine but they desperately want to save the sharks life .... they will do just about anything to keep him from dying ... is there anyone who could help them out with this that you know of .. we are in seattle washington.... please help asap

Sharks are pretty tough... you see them in the wild with all type of scars on them..

I would suggest calling your local aquarium and ask them for some advice as i really wouldnt know where to begin, other then to isolate him if the wound becomes scary looking...

And btw: glad it was the shark and not your hand...????
