aquarium for seahorse

Question
Hello, it's me again. Just as I had said, I will probably have more questions lol
I found a 30 gallon tank and 200 gph salt water filter. I was looking into purchasing an aquarium temperature regulator to make my job a little easier.
1) If I get a temperature regulator, do I still need a heater?
2) If you happen to know about temperature regulators, would you be able to tell me if this one is suitable?

It seems to have everything I need but I want to make sure that it is appropriate and decent quality.
Once again, Thanks! =)

Answer
Hi Mitch,

No, that's like a thermostadt.  They are used for chillers, and heaters, both, but they are used in conjunction to keep the temperature exact.

A heater would be less expensive than buying a 3 part system (heater, chiller, temperature controller).

It's expensive, but if you live in California or another hot, temperate climate, you might consider going that way.  Of course, a chiller for a 30 gallon tank is going to run about $350.  This could truly add up, financially.
