Question
hello my tank has been running for 5 months now. i want to get some easy corals like polyps. i am confused about the supplements need to add and when should i add them. thanks

Answer
Hi Ben,

Your tank needs a skimmer to keep corals.  This helps them survive.

You will need to add Phytoplankton every 2 days.  About 2 teaspoons.

This feeds the coral.

Buy B-Ionic and add it as directed to the tank.  This will give you necessary supplements for calcium, magnesium and such.  This way, you won't have to worry about whether you got it right or not.  It's a good product.

Additionally, you can add Coral Vite to the tank, or an all around coral vitamin.  This will take care of trace minerals, etc.

I think making chemistry easy for you is the best course when beginning the supplements.

But, aquariums that are marine need many supplements and minerals. Too much to write about in a short response. :)

Happy fish-keeping.
