Guess what?! My Ammonia and Nitrite has dropped to (oppm)!! So I am now officially a Hobbyist huh?, do I get a pin or something for being patient and corresponding with you on almost a daily basis? to be honest, I felt like an Anniversary at a AA meeting, like if I was celebrating a mile stone at staying clean..(ha,ha,ha)
I now understand, what you meant when you said that my
NITRITE would eventually drop to Zero, it's not that there isn't any more Ammonia or Nitrite in my tank, it's that the bacteria is now colonized and strong enough to fight and turn the Nitrite into Nitrate so quickly and efficiently that it is UNDETECTABLE, right? I got it now....
Thank You so much Karen for walking with me through this since April 13th! Wow!!! It seems longer than 4 weeks, doesn't it? It only took 4 weeks for my tank to Cycle! I must have a great FILTERs huh?( especiallly the BIO-MAX and Carbon) I know that all those DAILY WATER CHANGES helped tremendouslt too.. I think it was that more than anything else that pulled me through stocking my aquarium with 30 fishes!!!! I'll always advise the nest person not to do what I did!!!!!
