Question
Hey there Karen,
How are you? I am doing fine, my little guys are doing very well also, I haven't written lately because everything is PERFECT, no fish deaths, no Ammonia spikes just a tiny, and I mean a tiny a bit of Algae, and only on the plant leaves, not on the glass or anywhere else, so in other words, everything is wonderful!
It's so simple people, don't add anything that you don't have to, just do Water Changes of 50% to 60% or if your lazy 30-50%, but it is Mandatory that this water change get done at least every 2 weeks, I personally go no mor3e than 7 days, this is a Proven method, believe me and millions of experienced fish keepers, Water Changes is the only answer for 95% of everything, If done on a regular basis, you will be sitting home reading this forum instead of writing to it, I know, I use to be like you writing to it, until I noticed that the best advice anyone can give is to keep up the water changes!!!!!!!
Karen, sorry I took over there for a second, but because of your patience and good advice, I am where I am today,
Karen, I noticed that Stephanie, doesn't answer any questions, she writes only a few words and they don't advise the hobbyist with Sh_t!!
They should throw her off!! I'll see what I can do!!

Answer
That's Wonderful TSL,
Nothing makes me feel happier then hearing how well your fish are doing and that just proves that water changes--large and frequent are more effective then smaller less frequent and that they are the solution to nearly all water quality and many fish problems rather than chemicals or other tecniques. I hope other people read and listen to your sucess with water changes and hopefully then it would prevent so many fishkeeping failures and aquarists giving up the hobby.

It's very nice to hear from you again and I wish you only the very best!!!
Karen~
ps: please be nice! ;-)
