Hi,

I'am new to keeping fish and thinkin about buying a 60Litre Biorb (smart pack)for my refurbished bedroom, I want a stylish looking set and to be quite minimilistic so was thiknin of only buying a few fish. I really like the look of beta fighting fish and rope fish have also taking my fancy.would the 2 be ok together? Or do you know any simular fish to the rope that might. I'am welcome to any sugestions u myt have and any tips for me would be great.

thanks alot

josh.

Answer
Hi Josh: Rope fish are kewl!  They are very community oriented so I always recommend a group of them three more... They would probably get along fine with your beta though they will sometimes eat smaller fish.  They like to have heavily planted tanks with hiding spots.  They love to hunt and are quite amazing to watch. If you get rope fish you will need to feed them worms.  Larger tetra's such as the Buenos aries tetra or even the giant danio would also be good... dave
