tank smells

Question
tank has chemical type smell,have changed water twice in last4 days tank is sligthly cloudy but not bad.I add proper amounts of topfin water conditioners and bacteria supplement,had water tested before i changed water last time it was ammonia was 0.25 and ph was 8.0 chlorine 0,nitrite 0,nitrate 0,hardness 150,alkalinity 180.smell after last change not as bad but still smells,tank 2 weeks old waited 10 days before adding fish dont remember if there was smell bofore adding fish

I encourage you to read it and print it out for future reference. If you cut back on feeding, it will cure the problem. I do not recomend chemical treatments. "Cycle" is friendly bacteria, not a chemical.
