whats happening?

My most of the time all my Oscar does is float at the top of the tank. Why does it do this.

Hi Collin;

Have your tank water tested at your local fish store and see how it looks. Make a 25% water change to help him feel better while we figure out what's going on. Let me know  what size tank you have, what size fish he is, what other fish you have with him, what kind of filter, how long the tank has been set up, water temperature, diet, etc. Let me know as many of those details as you can and we can go from there......
