Answer
Hi Jo Ann
I take it the Clear Water is a chemical then?  I've never heard of it.  I personally don't like using unnecessary chemicals in my tanks.  Usually all they're doing is masking the problems instead of finding out what the source is and dealing with that.  So, I'd recommend not using that-but that's just me :)

I'm a little confused, you said in the last post it was brownish/greenish colored-which would indicate algae.  Now it's turned a purple & grey color I'm guessing because of the chemical?
I'd recommend getting a water test kit, and test for ammonia, nitrites, & nitrates.  The first two should read 0 ppm, and the nitrates under 20 ppm.

I really think your problem is due to water quality, but it's hard to say without all the info.  You could wait out the chemical and see what happens, but I think you're still going to have problems with the tank.  With the sharks, dragons, pleco-your 10 gallon tank is way over stocked.  How often do you do water changes?  Normally I'd recommend at least once a week, but with a tank that overstocked, I'd say you should be doing one every 2-3 days.  Really none of those fish will fit properly in a 10 gallon, I'd recommend a larger tank or getting rid of all the fish and getting smaller community/tropical fish if you can't get a larger tank.

Are you familiar with cycling a tank & the whole process/what's involved with it?  I'm not sure how long your tank has been up and running, but even if it's been awhile, the bioload will be too high for the bacteria in your tank to handle-which is what would cause the water parameters to be poor.  I'm giving you a link, it has all that info on there, and also about the water parameters.

Hope this helps a little, like I said it's kinda hard diagnosing, need more info.  And, also like I said, a larger tank would work a lot easier for you!  Good luck, adn let me know if I can help anymore!
