Question
will batta fish live with other fish my daughter wants one in her tank. she has two gold a fancy guppy and a snail

Answer
Hi Richard
I'd say that's not really a good idea with the fish you currently have.  I'm guessing that's 2 goldfish?  Goldfish are cool water fish, & they put out a lot of ammonia through their waste and respiration.  Because of that, they're not recommended to be put in with community/tropical fish like bettas or guppies etc.  They also grow quite large, and 1 goldfish requires a minimum of a 15-20 gallon tank.

As for the fancy guppy with a betta, usually not a good idea either.  The betta might think the guppy's competition with the colorful fancy tail.  The guppy may end up dead.

Bettas do get along ok with snails though, and generally are ok with most community/tropical fish, so long as they don't have colorful & fancy tails.

Hope that helps!!
