Question
Hi, I was reading other answers before about goldfish and corydoras, and i have put corydoras into my coldwater goldfish aquarium, but i make the water come out 23-24 degrees Celsius. I was just wondering if this will work in the run?

Answer
Hi Chris:  In the long and short run you can expect trouble.  Goldfish will eat cory cats if the cory's are too small.  Also the temperature will work for a while but both the goldfish and the cory's will eventually want other temperature settings.  Right now you have the goldfish thinking that it is summer and the water is warm... while the cory's are probably stuck in winter or spring; with the water starting to chill.... Its odd to think about but fish follow seasonal changes and they mark the seasons with differences in light and water temperatures...  I hope this helps... let me know if you have any other questions... dave
