Question
well i have a male and a female betta... both in separate bowl...... i have a large bowl my male betta used to blow a dense bubblenest....... and use to run after the female... but my female doesn't seem to be interested...... but a week ago my male stopped blowing a nest i thought i need to put a female with him but my female attacked the male fighter and chewed all his beutiful fins :( now i have them separated again.... is this behaviour of female attackin male normal?

Answer
As far as I know, that is strange. It could be he gave up on her. She could be more aggressive than him, I don't really have much information or experience with betta breeding. I would try separating them (but keeping them in the same tank with a clear divider) and see if they get interested again.
