Question
Is it possible that too much oxygen is not good?  I bought an air filter for a 100 gallon tank but only have a 55 gallon tank is too much bubbles not good?

Answer
Hi Linn;

You shouldn't have a problem with too much oxygen because you're only pumping in atmospheric air, not pure oxygen. There may be a problem with water movement though. If your fish seem fine with the water current I wouldn't worry about it. If they are distressed and have a hard time swimming, get a smaller pump. If they're plastered to the sides or surfing in the waves or something I would say that's a sign it's too much. ;-)
