Baby Huey

Question
Hi Dave!  No change in my goldfish.  He still will occasionally get to wiggling fast enough to swim a little but mostly still laying on his side at the bottom.  Is it possible that he ate a rock?  In my tank I have (had) small gravel and then some bigger decorative stone.  Baby Huey used to gather all the bigger ones and put them all in one place!!??  Maybe he accidentally swallowed one?!
I don't know what else to do and I don't know what to do even if he did swallow a rock.  Any advice you have, as always, will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks again for everything.

Answer
Hi Donna: well actually that is good news... he has not developed any further symptoms... Is it possible that he is getting picked on by another fish??? The dirty deed would most likely happen at night... you might want to turn the light off and just watch for a bit... It is sounding like to me that he is not suffering so much from an illness as perhaps and environmental factor... I will try to do some research on goldfish who eat rocks... but I think its more likely that he is being picked on.  let me know what you discover...and I shall do the same... dave
