QuestionI have a 55 gallon fish tank, aproximently. 48"long, 13.6" wide, and 20.5" high. There is a 200 watt heater, an aquaclear power filter(300gph)and the gravel/water is already set up(gravel is in 3 layers, fine stones almost sand first layer, slightly larger for 2nd, and 3rd is about about 1/4") I stupidly haven't decided what fish to get yet! I was thinking 1 parrot fish, 10 neon/cardinal tetra's, 5 hatchet fish, and 3-5 Otto's. Does that sound good? Would they all get along? Also, could I get anymore fish?
--Thank you so much!
AnswerI would stay away from the parrot fish as they are cichlid hybrids and unpredictable in temperament. I would replace that parrot with either an angel or some rams...the hatchets you have to be careful with because they can jump out of tanks...5 ottos would be fine...
