emergency!!!!

QUESTION: I have a baby oscar and he has fin rot but is healing with melafix. and i came back from the pet store and gave him 3 white clouds and he is just sitting in his cave but hes never done that before he is usally happy and excited and i feed him not all fish maybe once a month because hole in the head. but he is so cool i feed him a regular diet of

omega one super color pellets
somtimes omega one oscar flakes for auto feeder when i am gone for weekends and stuff
frozen blood worms
frozen beefheart
ocasionally fish
crickets
earth worms
lettuce
and peas

That diet you have him on is excellent, except for the feeders....Just cut them out all together.  Granted, the white clouds may not be as bad as feeder goldfish/guppies, but the fish store can still get fish in with diseases.  I just went through that last week.

What are your water parameters-ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates reading?  If the water quality isn't good, they can sulk like that.  If you don't have a test kit, do an immediate water change, and see if that helps.

QUESTION: okay im okay with no feeders. but every thing is perfect ammonia 0 nitrates and nitrites 0 every things where its supposed to be it has a key on the bottle

You're welcome just happened to catch me while I was online :)  

Ok, something's not right, because you should be showing some nitrates if your tank is cycled.....

How long has the tank been set up?

Does/was he showing any other symptoms?  Just the fin rot?  And how long have you been treating that?  And how bad is it? Coax him out of the cave and look for any other symptoms, red streaks or red spots anywhere on him, any ulcers, anything unusual.
