hi,
do you know a lot about guppies?
im a beginer and want to start with guppies. i dont know a lot about them and want to ask a picture of guppies mating. thats one question. the second is... why did my guppy only give birth to one baby? and she is still fat and round. its been 2 weeks that i wait for her but there is no response. and why after eating, her tummy has black stuff? and after an hour or 2, the black stuff disappears? everyday its like that.

any advice will be appreciateed.

Welcome to the wonderful world of fish!

Guppies are really interesting fish. I will try to provide a link to a picture of guppies mating at the bottom of this letter. The reason for your guppy giving birth to only one baby are many, it could just be that she is still young and not to the age where she is able to produce a lot of babies at one time. Guppies are pregnant all the time with eggs that hatch inside their body and later they birth out the baby fry. Your female guppy most likely has more eggs inside her that are developing. I'm sure she will have more babies soon.

The black stuff you are seeing could just be her belly being full after eating. Most likely that is all it is.

I'm sure you will do great with guppies. Just read as much as you can about keeping guppies and what they eat and how to keep them healthy. I'll provide the link below to a website about guppies which includes the picture of guppies mating. This website should help you some.
