QuestionHi,
My black moore stopped swimming about 2 hours ago. It is floating on its side near the surface, and is breathing. i have seperated it from my other fish and put it in a bowl with food and oygen tablets. It very occasionally musters the strength to swim slowly for about a second, the starts to float again.
Do you know what is wrong and what i can do to help it?
Thanks & Regards
Wayne
AnswerHi Wayne,
It sounds like your fish has a swimbladder problem.
I would suggest feeding your fish frozen thawed peas to help digestion. Do this for three days and fast him for three days. Try pre-soaking your flake food or pellets to prevent it from swelling in the goldfishes` abdomen.
