hard and soft water

how can i identify if the water is a hard or soft water in just a simple way?

Its very simple. You can get aquarium test kits from your petshop to test your water easily and see if its hard or soft. You should be able to ask your local petstore and they should be able to help.

Test kits are very simple to use.
