Gluttonous Goldfish

Question
I recently got to snails for my fish tank. I have an albino armored cory and a large goldfish. My goldfish is constantly looking for food and thinks that the smaller of my two snail is some kind of treat. He will suck the poor thing into his mouth and then spit it out when he can't swallow. I hate to see my snail man handled like that abd want to know if i could do something to prevent my goldfish from trying to eat it. Thank you.

Hi Taylor:  Goldfish are never satisfied and will eat themselves to death if you let them... I use my goldfish to control my snail population so they do like snails... if you'd like to save your snail... you will have to either remove the goldfish or the snail.  Hope this helps... dave
