QuestionI have a 30 gall. tank with a small pleco a pacu which is about 3in long(i know that i need a bigger tank for both the pleco and pacu)and two small tiger barbs which i purchased yesterday. The one barb is always biting at the other barb, is that bad.
AnswerHi Jose,
Tiger barbs behave better in groups of 6-8 individuals. They fight much less because there are more fish for them to spread out their rough games of chasing and nipping. It won't be as bad. Its normal for barbs to rough and tumble with each-other, they seem to have a strong pecking order.
Best of luck and I hope this helps!
