Question
I have two beutiful medium sized(6 inches)tiger oscars in a well established 75 gallon tank. its well filtered with an eheim 2260  and u.g. plates. it has fake plants, but I've worked very hard to  make it look very natural with driftwood, different levels, and plenty of plants to kind of seperate territories. it has 3 stage lighting(dawn and morning into daylight, and on into early evening and night) they have been living together for a month now, but in the last two weeks one(jasper) has been harrassing and attacking the other(fast eddie) to the point that eddie has patches of bare skin and scarring. jasper has even started attacking the two plecos. I have to hand feed them seperately with pellets, live feeders and bloodworms just to make sure they both eat. jasper has gotten to the point of staying in the back corner with his head pointed down and not coming out at all. I'm a pretty experienced aquarist, although these are my first oscars. I thought they were peaceful and gentle fish and I'm very concerned. why is this happening and is there anything I'm doing wrong? what can I do to help eddie?

Answer
Montana,

I saw no one had answered this yet and wanted to make sure you were getting the help you needed.  Unfortunately I don't have time to answer this at the moment, however here is a great forum dedicated to fish health and diseases that should help you:  http://www.aquaria.info/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewforum&f=67

Good luck with your fish!
