Betta care - fin rot, Part II

Hi, Karen!

I just read one of your past responses regarding fin rot and checked out fishjunkies.com and fishEnthusiast.com.  They talk about a salt dip as a treatment option - 4 tsp of salt to one gal H2O and leaving the fish in 5 - 30 min.  What about this?

Oh I don't know about the salt dip. It can be too stressful for fish and I've never tried it myself because I never felt comfortable putting my fish through it.

I'd imagine it'd be quite a shock for fish to be suddenly dipped in extremely salty water but its up to you whether or not you'd like to try it. ;-)
