What can i do????

Answer
Hi Jessica
I saw your question in our question pool.  Hopefully it's not too late....

Be sure to monitor his water quality, and keep it pristine-ammonia and nitrites 0 ppm, and nitrates under 20 ppm.  Pick up some MelaFix and some PimaFix(both of those are great stuff to have on hand anyway), they're a natural herbal antibacterial remedy.  MelaFix is great for injuries to tails and fins, and PimaFix is great for some minor bacterial infections and fungus.  You can use both of them together as well.  Keep an eye on it, look for any redness, sores/ulcers, red streaks on the fins, tail, or the base areas of those.  Be sure he's eating as well.
Let me know if you have more problems, may need to go with a stronger antibiotic, but I'd hold off on that and try those other 2 first.
