Ok, So.. i have a 5 gallon with two angelfish that are realitivly small. The thing is the Tank doesnt have a heater but instead usues the light that came with the top of the tank, the water is a good tempature adn the fish are happy but what i wonder is do fish need down time from the light? Because that one stays on all the time.

Yes, the fish need about 10 - 12 hours of dark. You can buy an inexpensive heater from any pet supply store.
Also, when your fish get a little bigger you are going to experience some problems. Angelfish get way to big for a 5 gallon. I hope I was some help.
