Question
if i research on clown loach care and (it said in a book to) keep the water constant at 84 degrees for 10 days, how will they be as a beginner? also, could i keep 3 full grown clowns in a 125-135 gallon tank?

Answer
Hi,

Yes, you could keep clown loaches as a beginner, as long as you read up on their care information. Yes, you could keep 3 full grown clowns in a 125-135 gallon tank.

However, the temperature is a bit high for Clown Loaches. They prefer temperatures of 73-82F. 84 is a bit high, unless you were treating for Ich. The only fish that require temperatures of 84F+ are Discus.
your Clown Loach would become a bit stressed at that temperature. Your book is incorrect. They should not be kept at a permanent temperature of 84. Keeping the water at 84F for 10 days is only for Ich. Ich is not a problem if you pick out healthy stock from the fish store. If your fish get Ich, there are medications available to treat it. There is no need to treat Ich if your fish don't already have it.
