Balloon Molly Fry.

Hi, we recently bought a balloon molly pair from a pet store, and then night we brought them home, the black mother gave birth to 14 babies.  After 2 1/2 weeks, we still have seven healthy babies, but they are all still black colored.  We were wondering if (and when) they will change colors, or if they are already their final coloring.  thanks!

Hi, Congratulations on your babies! They are about their final color after about 4 weeks but usually they start off a lighter color unless they will turn out to be a black color. They most likely will be black and won't change any more because my white molly fry started off white and stayed white they whole time. Good Luck!
