Hi,
  I have this mosquito fish and it is "fat". But it has noy laid any thing yet. Its been like this for a while. I dont think there is a male in there so what will happen to the female?

Hi Shaunte';

Mosquito fish are livebearers, which means they give birth to live babies. They can have babies several months after they have been with a male, so if she was with one 6 months ago she could be pregnant. If not, she is just a chubby little gal and won't be having babies.
