Help my oscar!

Hi, i have a problem i just bought a oscar from the petstore, and he's floating sideways upside down. he's small mabye inch and a half. i have an electric blue in the tank aswell, its' 50 gallon tank it's 79 degrees and a pH of 7.7 the tank has been set up for months i haven't added any new fish for at least 2 my electric blue pecks them to death so i thought an oscar of the same size would be ok. now i'm scared that he will die by morning is there anything i can do?

Hi Lisa;

If he is still alive, move him out. You might ask Ron Coleman what he thinks your electric blues would do better with. I'm just really not sure. He is the real cichlid expert on AllExperts. Here is his profile;
