Question
QUESTION: I have 3 beta fish in my aquarium. I'd like to get a 4th..maybe even a fifth!!

The aquarium is 12 gallons and they are the only fish in there.

Could I get a 4th?

How would I introduce her to the other 3 without them fighting or ganging up on her?

The other 3 I got at the same time.

Thanks!

ANSWER: Are they females? Or males?

If males take everyone out but leave one in there.

If females, I wouldn't add anymore as squabbling could occur and get bad.

I would add maybe 3 cory cats to lean the bottom and leave your tank like that.

You will have a nice calm tank then :)

Hope this helps   and Good Luck   Jack

QUESTION: yea they are girls.

What are cory cats?

Do I have to introduce them or can I just plop them in the water?

Answer
Cory cats are small catfish like these:

There are dozens of types you can get :)

You will have to float the bag to equalise the temperature and then add aquarium water every 5 minutes, do this for around and hour then release them into the tank :)
