My tiger oscar and red oscar will not eat.

Question
so it is ok that they don't eat and just hide.  I put a feeder fish in the tank today and when I left the room they were so funny trying to catch that thing but if they saw me they stopped instantly and hid why.

I have had these two Oscars for a week now and up until two days ago the water was to cold.  now it is at 78F and my fish just sit at the bottom or hide the second they see something.  They have not eaten a thing what should i do.

Hi Kenneth,
  78 is a good temperature.  Give them time.  Moving is very traumatic for oscars.  They have to learn to trust you.

 They are frightened, that's why.   

 Do not feed your oscars with feeder fish.  Feeder fish almost always carry diseases like ick.  Every week I answer many emails from people who have killed their fish by feeding them with feeder fish.
