My Cichlid has a lump

Question
My green terror has a lump growing under the scales 2/3rds way down body on side. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago but it is getting bigger and is now quite noticeable, he is about 5 yrs old and 6-7inches long not aggressive in tank living with 2 parrot fish and 2 silver sharks. the rest are ok. Looks well and eating though seems to be looking a little less well today.

Hi Liz,
 I have seen that before but unfortunately I don't know of anything that you can do about it.   It might be a tumor or it might be a parasite.  If it is a large gentle lump then more likely it is a tumor and sadly I don't think you can do anything about it. Sorry.
