fish upside down

I just bought 2 black Mollies and i put them in the tank about an hour ago and
they are upside down breathing. Are they asleep or are they dying?????? Please
help I'm very confused right now and i don't want my fish to die.

Hello Laura,
They are certainly not sleeping!!  Have you checked your water.  It must be free of ammonia, nitrates, and the PH should be around 8 for mollies as they do not do well in acidic water.  How long as your tank been running?  Did you add a good conditioner to the water in your tank?  
I have nothing to go on here, except that you put two mollies in your tank, and they are dying...so I would think the problem is in your water.
