pacus

Question
i have 2 pacus , their lips r very swollen and look like they r coming apart from there mouth. they are not swimming like they r suppose to or eatting. plaese answer ASAP.

This is my favorite type of fish grow to be 24 inches long! Thats very sad to hear. Lets go over some details so i can help you with this. When you say they're not swimming like they're supposed to, how ARE they swimming. Are they just not moving, Are they laying on there side?

Are your pacu full grown or just changing into teenagers, It would give me a better clue of what could be going on, any other symptoms or just the lack of eating and the big lips?
