when is the right size to be feeding the oscar worms ,feeder fishes ,ect?

and how many pelets should i feed it per day?

Answer
Hi Jacob,
For awhile, a 25 gallon tank will be fine.  Eventually your oscar will outgrow that tank and you will need something larger.  It does not need another fish in the tank and in fact, if you put in anything small enough for the oscar to eat, it will do so.

Don't put another "meat eater" in the tank.

You need a tank, heater and filter.

You can feed it whatever it will eat.  Do NOT feed it feeder fish -- they often contain parasites, e.g. ick.  I answer many questions from people whose oscars are dying because they gave the oscar some feeder goldfish. Don't do it.

I feed my fish once a day.  Feed the fish as much as it will eat in 5 minutes.  Do not put in food that it will "eat later".  The food will rot, hurting your oscar.
